Su Jian: a high-speed rail craftsman who speeds up the Chinese dream.

CCTV News:In recent years, with the continuous development and maturity of high-speed rail construction and operation, China has become a high-speed rail country. After domestic development from scratch, innovation and improvement, China’s high-speed rail has also gone abroad and blossomed in some countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and America. With its safety, speed and comfort, it is well-known at home and abroad, becoming a symbol of China’s rise and demonstrating China’s strength.
As a national business card of Zhang Yue, every step of the development of high-speed rail is inseparable from the efforts of technicians. Su Jian of Tangshan Rail Bus Co., Ltd. is one of them. In the 29 years of working as a plumber for rolling stock, he has presided over more than 50 operation innovations and made more than 40 sets of high-speed EMU tooling, successfully realizing the localization of all pipelines of high-speed EMU.
4,500 experiments, exceeding the limit with faith.
There are nine key technologies to realize the safety and stability of trains, and the braking technology of high-speed EMU is one of them. A train has 1100 pipes, more than 2400 meters long, more than 95% of which are three-dimensional bends, with an average of 6 bends per pipe. These pipelines, like wires, control the safe operation of EMU.
The biggest problem Su Jian encountered in the process of tackling the key problem of domestic brake pipeline is the rebound deformation of elbow angle. Even if the same data programming program as imported pipe is used, the angle error is about 2 degrees, while the accuracy required by EMU is 0.5 degrees. The only way to solve the problem is manual compensation.
In this respect, there is no empirical data for reference. In order to obtain accurate data, Su Jian led the technical backbone of the team to adopt a test method one by one, and conducted more than 4,500 experiments on 22 kinds of radius molds of 14 kinds of raw material pipes from three manufacturers, and finally collected more than 12,000 data, and compiled the CRH3 CNC elbow angle rebound compensation database. According to this data, the pipe angle error was controlled at 0.1 degree, and the length error was controlled at 1 mm, thus achieving accurate compensation.
50 items in 5 years, excellent skills drive crazy innovation.
In order to quickly realize the localization of EMU manufacturing, it may be an exaggeration to say that Su Jian is crazy about innovation in recent years. In just five years, he declared nearly 50 innovations. He presided over the key research topics such as "Optimization of assembly process of CRH3-IC vehicle brake module" and "Capacity improvement of cab air conditioning system", which greatly improved the work efficiency, and the tooling coverage rate of each process of the team was as high as 90%, which improved the overall work efficiency of the team.
In order to break through the production bottleneck of pre-assembly process, Su Jian successfully combined 10 air-conditioning condenser tubes into 5 tubes by pipeline optimization, reducing 16 welding joints, and achieving the goal of reducing welding difficulty and eliminating quality hidden dangers. By improving the pressure-maintaining and vacuum-pumping fixture and developing the copying welding fixture, the production cycle of air conditioning process was shortened from 15 days to 5 days, which fully met the needs of production and capacity improvement. After the technological transformation, the cost per train was saved by 65,000 yuan, and only the production of the first, second and third EMUs saved the company a total of 28.34 million yuan.
In 2007, Su Jian, as one of the first trainers in the assembly process, went to Siemens in Germany to study. There, the rigorous and hard-working craftsman spirit was deeply imprinted in his heart.
In 2012, Su Jian Jin Lanling Studio was established. He combined what he had learned in Siemens, Germany with rich practical experience to compile 11 volumes of visual teaching materials with about 100,000 words, and passed on his personal experience and unique skills to his disciples without reservation, thus realizing the effective inheritance of high-speed rail skills. By 2014, Su Jian Studio had trained 29 technicians and 4 CNR Golden Blue Collars, completed 4 key quality research projects and applied for 263 company operation innovations.
"Our high-speed rail workers just want to learn innovation, serve the country with skills and speed up the Chinese dream!" Su Jian expressed his feelings and dreams as the first generation of high-speed rail people.
