Li Jing, a 59-year-old veteran pilot, has 42 years of flying experience, accumulated 24,277 hours of safe flight, 10,568 landings and 730 hours of simulator mission. This year is his last Spring Festival travel rush, and he will officially retire in May.
As a civil aviation official, Li Jing can be said to have witnessed the development of civil aviation in China.
He dreamed of flying since he was a child. In order to pursue his dream, he entered the No.2 Air Pre-school College at the age of 18, and then entered the No.2 Air Pre-school Flight Academy through layer-by-layer selection. At the age of 31, he went to the No.17 Aviation Division to teach six, five and six aircraft. Zhai Zhigang, the "first person to walk in space in China", was his student.
After the Air Force retired in 1993, she worked as a civil aviation pilot. In 2009, she joined Chongqing Airlines. During her flight career, Li Jing experienced various types of aircraft upgrades. During his service in the army, he flew over the sixth, fifth and sixth junior high schools. After he was discharged from the army and worked as a civil aviation pilot, he began to fly Yun -7, McDonnell Douglas MD-82 and now Airbus 320.
"At that time, flying was a very foreign thing, and there were only a few people who could afford to fly." Li Jingxiao said that the earliest Yun -7 had only 46 seats, and there were more than 100 seats in McDonnell Douglas MD-82, and there were not many passengers in Spring Festival travel rush. Meticulous work, flying for 42 years, zero mistakes
"Pass it on with your own strength and help each other with your own strength." As a flight instructor, Li Jing also perfectly explains what it means to be a teacher. Attend meetings and trainings on time, treat work strictly, and be realistic.
"I have been flying for 42 years without a mistake, which is very admirable." Jin Hongzhi, the captain who has been working with him for a long time, said that Captain Li Jing taught him what he had learned without reservation, which saved him a lot of detours in his study.
On February 3rd, Li Jing ushered in the first flying flight in Spring Festival travel rush this year, Chongqing-Hengyang-Fuzhou OQ2351. At 13:20 pm, the crew held a flight preparation meeting as usual, looked at the weather data, flight route and other information on the day of the flight, and made advance plans for possible problems during the flight before taking off.
Li Jing has held countless preparatory meetings like this over the years, but he still treats each meeting meticulously.
After the meeting, the crew members go to the physical examination room for physical examination, which is an essential link for each pilot before boarding the plane. By measuring blood pressure and alcohol content, they ensure that they are in the best mental state, and then everyone receives protective materials and goes to the airport for pre-flight preparation.
At the apron, Li Jing went around the plane to check the fuel tank, rotor, tail, engine air intake, landing gear and other parts. After finishing the engine room inspection, she waited for the passengers to board the plane and prepare for takeoff.
