The incidence of breast cancer ranks first among female malignant tumors, and early screening can improve the curative effect and survival rate.
CCTV News:The last October was "International Breast Cancer Concern Month". A new research report shows that the incidence of breast cancer ranks first among female malignant tumors, with about 300,000 new cases in China every year.
The report was completed by Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other institutions for three years, and more than two million samples were detected. This is also the first study on the mutation rate of breast cancer-related genes based on healthy people in China. According to this study, the incidence of breast cancer susceptibility gene mutation in China is 0.38%, and breast cancer has surpassed lung cancer to rank first among new cases of female malignant tumor in China. The median age of breast cancer diagnosis is 48 -50 years old. The median age of breast cancer diagnosis in developed countries in Europe and America is 62 years old. Professionals suggest that women in China should prevent and detect breast diseases as early as possible.
Zhang Ligang, Vice President of Beijing Health Management Association:It is suggested that China (female) should be screened for breast cancer 13-15 years earlier than the middle age of breast cancer, which is only for those with average risk. Second, if this woman has a family history, or if the breast cancer gene is mutated, it needs to be earlier and should be followed up from the age of 20.
The report pointed out that clinical research shows that breast cancer is related to the high estrogen level in women, and long-term mental stress or emotional excitement can also induce breast cancer. Breast cancer has a certain genetic tendency, and the 5-year survival rate of early breast cancer can reach more than 90%.
