The first domestic order! Hydrocarbon-based biodiesel voyage to Europe-State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council
Recently, the "Formosa Plastics No.13" full of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel was loaded at No.1 berth of Rizhao Port Oil Company in Shandong Port and sent to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This is the first domestic clean energy shipping business with the name of "hydrocarbon-based biodiesel" since the implementation of domestic industry standards related to hydrocarbon-based biodiesel in 2022.
Under the global background of low-carbon emission reduction, biodiesel is becoming the "new favorite" of domestic fuel industry because of its many high-quality characteristics such as energy saving, consumption reduction and renewability. However, the structure of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel is more similar to that of petrochemical diesel, and it can be added to petrochemical diesel in a larger proportion, reducing carbon emissions by more than 80%. Rizhao Port aimed at the market prospect of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel, seized the opportunity, laid out ahead of schedule, quickly established business development ideas, gave full play to the advantages of the port, actively served clean energy customers to handle the shipping business, and successfully realized the new source of "hydrocarbon-based biodiesel".
In order to ensure the shipment quality of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel, Rizhao Port has studied and formulated a one-stop shipment plan, coordinated the operation status of terminals, ships and reservoir areas, and collected the shipment process, valves and instrument data on one map to achieve a common solution, saving time for customers; During the operation, the operator keeps a close eye on the tide situation, adjusts the operation hose in real time, and monitors the pressure of the pipeline in the whole process, "civil air defense+technical defense", so that the on-site control can be foolproof and worry-free for customers; At the end of the operation and the closing stage, the joint reservoir area will implement the "line sweeping" measures in advance to ensure the quality of shipment and save labor for customers. The one-stop service scheme promoted the efficiency of shipment by more than 30%, and ensured that the "Formosa Plastics No.13" efficiently finished the cargo and sailed to Europe full of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel.
