Chinese Academy of Sciences patent data integrated access to scientific and technological resources identification CSTR
Recently, the patent data of Chinese Academy of Sciences managed by Intellectual Property Network of China Academy of Sciences (http://www.casip.ac.cn) has been connected to CSTR (Science and Technology Resource Identification) as a whole, becoming the first patent data set connected to CSTR.
Chinese Academy of Sciences Intellectual Property Network is a one-stop official information portal of Chinese Academy of Sciences’ intellectual property rights and achievements transformation, sponsored by the Science and Technology Promotion and Development Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences and undertaken by Chengdu Literature and Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a unified information service and display platform of scientific and technological achievements in the whole hospital. At present, the website has integrated the hospital’s patents and scientific and technological achievements data, including more than 230,000 patent data, and provides information services related to intellectual property such as online patent analysis, accurate patent recommendation, patent transformation operation and online intellectual property training.
CSTR Science and Technology Resources Identification Service Platform (https://www.cstr.cn) is built according to the national standard GB/T 32843-2016 "Science and Technology Resources Identification", which provides unique identification services for global scientific data, academic papers, scientific research institutions, researchers, scientific research instruments, patents and other scientific and technological resources. It is an important carrier for China’s national standards to serve global scientific and technological resources and a global basic service platform to promote international mutual recognition of China’s standards. CSTR has become one of the international standard protocol identifiers recognized by IANA, an Internet digital distribution organization, and has been initially applied in the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, ORCID, Harvard Dataverse, etc. Up to now, CSTR has been connected to scientific data, germplasm resources, academic papers, scientific research institutions, researchers, patents and other types of scientific and technological resources, providing multi-dimensional data analysis such as total resources, analytical volume, query volume and citation volume.
CSTR will promote the unique identification and related discovery of patent achievements of CAS, deepen the application and service of patent information of CAS, and further improve the transformation and application level of patent achievements of CAS.
