One is located in the outer suburb of Gyeongju, a thousand-year-old ancient capital, and one is hidden in the most remote Dacheng County of Daegu City. 　　The two most famous academies in China — — Bailudong Academy and Songyang Academy were included in the World Heritage List in 1996 and 2010 respectively as part of the "Heaven and Earth" historical buildings in Lushan and Dengfeng.
